If you intend to live a longer, healthier life, there can be no other alternative than to take regular exercise. Since time immemorial, physical activity has been associated with good health and now science has reiterated that age-old concept. Gone are the days when a sedentary life style was a symbol of glamour and glee. Now people have come to realize that an active lifestyle makes them healthy, wealthy and wise. Also, one look at the nation’s health database will prove that active people are less likely to die early or suffer major illness like heart disease, diabetes, colon cancer, fatal virus infection, etc.
Unfortunately, Genital Warts Symptoms, caused by a viral infection (HPV) which although not fatal, may appear irrespective of the fact whether the person is working out or not. But surely those who lead a healthier life and practices safe sex have a lesser chance of catching this sexually transmitted disease. Genital warts happen to both men and women, but for women, it can be even worse. The warts may occur as small, hard spots on the lips of the vagina, inside the vulva or around the anus and may develop within three weeks to three months after exposure.
Cervical warts are flat lesions, quite invisible in their early stages and go mostly un-noticed. However, when acetic acid, i.e. vinegar is swabbed on the cervix or the penis, HPV lesions appear whitish. Other non-genital warts do not change color. In some cases, genital warts occur in groups that may accumulate on genital tissues.
If you are not exercising, and particularly with all the junk foods all around and the fast life that we all lead, you are likely to end up being unfit. And the fact is, when you are unfit, the body becomes more susceptible to viruses as the immune system weakens. When this happens you are more likely to fall ill as viruses end up using your body as a host. One such virus is the HPV that causes genital warts. The HPV virus is able to gain entry and spread to others through sexual contact.
Support data show that regular exercise promotes healthy blood sugar levels, lower blood pressure levels, boosts the body’s immune system, helps improve body composition by burning fat, promote bone density increase levels of HDL (good cholesterol), improves mood and reduce chances of depression. Surprisingly enough, exercise alleviates the mind, creating a sense of mirth and glee although no apparent reason could be linked with this effect.
Despite all the encouragements for regular exercise, people are reluctant to indulge in it unless the motivation is defined. Take for example the natural lethargy for walking when a comfortable car is parked right in front of you or the effort to climb stairs when the self acting door of an inviting elevator beckons you to get inside and a self-timed button lets you go to any floor that you may choose. However, here the right impetus to stay healthy and fit can only make a person overcome the allurements and take to exercising earnestly and religiously.
Refrain from vigorous exercise right on day one. Start with light exercise. If you are walking, take short walks at the beginning, and then increase it gradually till you cover a mile at a stretch. Home gyms and other exercise equipment are available when weather does not permit outside exercise (see our home page). A good idea is to go for a brisk walk after you have taken the last meal of the day. And anyways, it is never a good idea to hit the bed just after a heavy meal. If you have ever indulged in swimming in your college days, there is no harm in taking up this wonderful form of exercise now. How about a romp with the children on Sunday afternoons? Here you get double benefit – exercise plus the fun. Sure you will enjoy a ball game with a toddler.
The importance of exercise for improved health cannot be over emphasized ever. So stay fit, exercise and keep the viruses and diseases like the genital warts away.
